Today, November 27, 2011, the South Texas MAiZE will open at noon. The last paid admission is at 5 p.m., grounds close at 6:30 p.m. Today is the last day of our 2011 season. Time to redeem any pre-purchased admissions that WILL expire AFTER TODAY! We look forward to seeing all of you at the South Texas MAiZE today!

The South Texas MAiZE has been blessed with an abundant amount of rain overnight! Due to the very wet conditions the maze will NOT be open for today, November 26, 2011. Please check back tomorrow, Sunday, November 27th, to verify if we will be able to open for the day.

This Friday, November 25th, all admissions to the South Texas MAiZE, regardless of age will be at the child rate of $8 each! All admissions are taxable. We hope you will visit the South Texas MAiZE this Friday, 11/25/11, from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and see why getting lost means finding fun in Hondo! The MAiZE makes a great family outing – what a great way to walk off all that turkey, pecan pie, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, etc.!!

The South Texas MAiZE will be open for the following hours during the Thanksgiving week:

Monday – 11/21 – closed 
Tuesday – 11/22 – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. – RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Wednesday &  Thursday - 11/23 & 11/24 – closed
Friday – 11/25 – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday – 11/26 – 10 a.m – 9 p.m (last paid admission at 9 p.m on Fri. & Sat., grounds close at 10:30 p.m.)
Sunday – 11/27 – 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. (last paid admission at 5 p.m., grounds close at 6:30 p.m. – this is the last day of our 2011 season)

The maze makes a great family outing for the holiday weekend! Eat to your heart’s content on Thanksgiving and visit the maze on the weekend to walk all those calories off! Remember, it’s the last weekend of our 2011 season!

The Tri-County Antique Tractor Pullers will host their annual South Texas MAiZE tractor pull the weekend of November 18 & 19. The tractors will move in on Friday, 11/18 and begin their pull on the morning of Saturday, 11/19. Come see a variety of tractors  giving it their best try to be the strongest puller for the longest length!

In honor of  Veteran’s Day 2011, the South Texas MAiZE will be offering FREE admission to all active duty and retired military, and their dependents, the following days:

Friday, Nov. 11th – 5p-9p, grounds close at 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 12th – 10a-9p, grounds close at 10:30 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 13th – 12 p. – 5 p, grounds close at 6:30 p.m.
